Campground Desciption and details: Located on the banks of the Tennessee River's beautiful Lake Guntersville and nestled into the picturesque Cumberland Mountains, Goose Pond Colony awaits your arrival. Goose Pond Colony is a municipally owned resort that will take your breath away. With two beautiful 18 hole championship golf courses, comfortable lakeside cottages, lodge, relaxing waterfront campground, full service marina, meeting facilities, Crawdaddy's Too Seafood Shoppe, swimming pool, beach area and Lake Guntersville, we are your 'Year-Round Playground and offer all you need for a relaxing vacation or a one day outing. Beautiful Camp Sites Available Year-round Paved wooded sites with lakefront available and all the modern amenities. Play Ground and Launching Ramps Located in the Camp Grounds Set in the trees on the waterfront, the cottages at Goose Pond Colony will surprise you. Quiet, relaxing, yet all the comforts of home, each has two bedrooms, kitchen, two bathrooms, dining room, living room, screened porch or deck, and grill. Also, there are piers for the cottages if you want to bring your boat. Cable TV and telephones are in each bedroom and there is a TV in the living room. Linens, dishes, utensils, and cookware are already there, so come stay for a day, a weekend or a week. The Goose Pond Marina is a full service facility located at mile marker 378.2 on the Tennessee River. The marina has wet slip and dry storage rental. Both local and transients are welcome. Our mechanics are OMC and Mercruiser trained and certified. The gas dock has snacks, gas, diesel fuel, oil, fuses, switches, and other items needed by the boater. Also available are water and electric hook-ups and a waste pumping station. While there you can stock up on fishing tackle and find out where the fish are biting at the Bait & Tackle Shop.
