Situated at the base of Sheep Mountain Dall Sheep Reserve, Dall Sheep can be spotted in their natural habitat on a daily basis, weather permitting of course, and it is not uncommon to spot an occasional bear as well! The Matanuska Glacier is one of the few Alaskan glaciers accessible by foot, and the Grand View Lodge and RV Park is just minutes away! Stay with us and watch the colors dance across the mountains each evening , casting shadows as the sun goes below the mountain peaks.
