Campground Desciption and details: FISHING PROGRAM The unpressured waters around our lodge offer the most abundant and diverse salt and fresh water fishing available in Alaska. Dozens of spectacular bays, estuaries, fishing streams, and lakes are within a short boat ride from our lodge and offer premier angling. Our cabin cruisers are available to take you on fishing and sight seeing expeditions beyond the bay. We also offer float fishing safaris on a choice of three of Alaska's greatest rivers in the Bristol Bay watershed, the most productive salmon spawning grounds in the world. FRESH WATER FISHERY Our crystal clear streams or lakes that feed our bays and estuaries fill up with sea run Dolly Varden, and salmon (Pink, Silver, Chum, and Sockeye). Some of these streams and lakes also have bountiful populations of feisty Cutthroat and Rainbow trout that explode for dry and wet flies. SALT WATER FISHERY Our fishery is alive with monster Halibut and many other species of bottom fish, including: Dolly Varden, Sockeye, Pink, Silver, Chum and giant King Salmon. We also run a set of crab and shrimp pots to compliment the meals of your daily catch with piles of fresh shellfish. OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES Many photographic and hiking opportunities are available at our lodge. Whale watching and other wildlife viewing opportunities exist around every corner. You can also explore the protected waters of the bay by kayak or outboard powered skiff. Pull crab pots, dig clams, and comb miles of our remote beaches and lively tidal pools. ACCOMMODATIONS AND FACILITY DESCRIPTION Here you will find the superior accommodations of our comfortable and spacious guest cabins and lodge. Our rooms are elegantly furnished and pine-paneled with hot showers, base board heaters, flush toilet facilities, and 24 hour electricity from our own hydroelectric power plant. Our guests can also enjoy the natural mineral hot spring or our hot tub located at the foot of a crystal mountain stream. Our wilderness lodge, base camps, and expeditions include all bush air fare, professional guides, top quality equipment, gourmet meals, and an impressive wine list.
