Directions to the campground: Driving Directions: Sterling Highway from Anchorage to Soldotna, Turn Right on Kenai Spur Highway (traffic light just past Fred Meyer store), drive 1.8 miles on Kenai Spur Highway to Big Eddy Road, Turn Left and drive .9 miles to Douglas Drive (across from big ship), Turn Left on Douglas, follow Douglas to the left past our Kenai Riverfront sign, turn right in first driveway. Campground Desciption and details: The Kenai Riverfront B&B/RV Park welcomes you to the beautiful and majestic Kenai River, located in the heart of the Kenai Peninsula....Alaska's most popular playground! Choices are your's at Kenai Riverfront! We look forward to having you as our guest whether you choose our B&B Suite with a great view of the river, you bring your own motor home and stay in our RV Riverfront Camp for the summer, or you reserve our 31’ Rental Motor Home and tour the area. Join us May-September for world class Salmon fishing with a professional guide or in a rental boat, or enjoy Riverfront Fishing from our own front yard, which happens to be one of the finest river banks on the Kenai for the famed and fiesty Sockeye (Red) salmon, which run June-August. Chinook (King) Salmon are the first Salmon to show up each summer, and the Kenai is home to the world's largest Kings, with fish commonly caught in the 50-70 pound range, and a few even bigger each year. King season runs May-July and our charters book up early so plan ahead! Later in the summer and fall, go in pursuit of the mighty Coho (Silver) salmon, as well as plentiful Pink salmon. The Kenai is also famous for some of the world’s finest Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden fishing spring to fall, and don't forget about the North Pacific's largest game fish, the mighty Alaskan Halibut!
