Campground Desciption and details: Fish: Trout, Northern Pike, Walleye Full service accomodations, Tent camps, Cabin rentals, Boat rentals, RV campgrounds and we are open all year. Grist Lake's main lodge is situated on a white sand beach and contains a comfortable living/dining room, a cozy fireplace, licensed lounge, radio telephone, and satellite T.V. An ample supply of tackle and confections are available in the lodge tack shop.Grist Haven Lodge is open year round, and offers accommodations to suit all your needs. Access to Grist Haven lodge is by air or by road. Located at the north end of Grist Lake is a 3000' grass airstrip with good approaches and a protected parking area. For pick-up either 'buzz' the lodge located at the south end of Grist Lake, or contact Grist Haven Lodge on 123.2 MHz. Full Service: This includes all meals, accommodations and bedding, fully equipped boats and motors, and transportation between lakes. Cabin Rentals: Cabins are on Grist Lake. Guests are accommodated in our cozy log cabins complete with bathrooms, showers, and propane heaters. The light housekeeping cabins contain kitchenettes with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, and propane fridges and stoves. Light housekeeping guests supply their own food, sleeping bags, and towels. Winefred Lake Tent Camp: From Grist Lake, a short trip with a four wheel drive vehicle and a scenic boat ride brings you to our tent camp located on Winefred Lake. Here, there is a central cookhouse with propane stove, electricity, dishes, cutlery, and pots and pans. Sleeping accommodations are in wood frame tents complete with foam mattresses, lanterns, and wood burning stoves. Guests bring their own food, sleeping bags, and towels. There are fish cleaning facilities on both Grist and Winefred Lake. R.V. Campsite: Camping is available on a well-equipped recreational vehicle campground, located on the north shore of Grist Lake, adjacent to the air strip. Grist Lake is a small deep lake with Lake Trout and Northern Pike, while nearby Winefred Lake has trophy size Northern Pike and Walleye. Surrounded by pristine lakes and lush forest, adventure beckons! For even more action, bring your fly-fishing gear and play with the Pike a short walk away at Jumbo Lake. With up to eighteen hours of daylight, you'll have all the time you need to land that "lunker" you've been dreaming of! Boat Rentals: 16' and 14' aluminum boats, fully equipped with 9.9 h.p. motors are available for daily rental on all three lakes! Ice fishing, ski-dooing and cross-country skiing are popular activities during the winter months. Grist Lake offers a great opportunity to score points too!
