Attractions near the campground: Grand Canyon National Park: One of the most spectacular of arid land erosion in the world. The park encompasses 1,904 square miles, including 277 miles of the Colorado River. South Rim facilities are open all year. North Rim facilities are open mid-May through mid-October. Directions to the campground: Northeast of downtown on North 89. From I-40 Exit 201, 1/2 mile north on US 89 to Page. Look for yellow entrance sign in trees at Smoke Rise Drive at light.

Base camp for Grand Canyon, Indian Ruins, Oak Creek, Sedona, Sunset Crater, Lake Powell, Navajoland and ski area. Camp in cool scenic pines. Planned summer recreation. Fish and golf nearby.
