Campground Desciption and details: Brand new river front facility. There are places on this earth where an undiscovered paradise awaits visitors to bask in their beauty. Riverside RV Resort and Campground is one such place. When you enter the resort, you will arrive to warm, friendly smiles and waving palm trees. Even the clouds slow down a bit as they pass by the park; perhaps to enjoy the atmosphere of Riverside RV Resort and Campground. The incredible views alone would be incentive enough to spend a few days here, but where would a resort be without great amenities? We offer spacious sites and fun, organized activities. Our list of great park features is extensive with shimmering swimming pools, great fishing spots, boating, a game room, volleyball, table tennis, activity center, picnic grove, a playground, shuffleboard, horseshoes and exceptional weekly entertainment. There will never be a dull moment! Pleasant strolls, soothing swims, tranquil fishing and relaxing boat rides are commonplace at our "riverside oasis". Come visit our resort, and get a glimpse of paradise. We are located on 70 lovely wooded acres directly on the Peace River. We offer a quiet country setting, yet just minutes to the fun and conveniences of Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda. Our Resort is easily reached from I-75, we're just 5 minutes east of exit 170. In our country setting, we often see ospreys and hawks, warblers and other song birds, bald eagles and herons are common. We have seen deer and an occasional otter, dolphin or manatee in the River. We have lovely old live oaks here in the Park, filled in the spring with Florida wild orchids. Our Resort offers two large swimming pools, a spa, shuffleboard court, horseshoes, a big fishing dock directly on the Peace River and a brand new boat ramp. Our facilities include a large camp store with groceries, beer and wine, souvenirs, toys and games, RV and camping supplies. Our main building also includes a huge activity center convenient to the big screened patio overlooking our sparkling pools and spa. Also, in our main building, is a large coin operated game room with pool table, air hockey, pin ball and other fun diversions. We're famous for our fully tiled, sparkling bath and toilet facilities both in our main building and in our second comfort station. We have two large laundromats featuring GE quality appliances. We have a very nice "dog walk" and several nice nature walks. Our paved roads are perfect for bike riding, walking and jogging and our Resort is gated. We are building a new 5200 square foot "Party Pavilion" for pot luck dinners, dances BBQ's and get togethers. We offer individual mail boxes and daily mail service to our guests who are here for more than a months stay. We offer complimentary fax, copy and notary services to our monthly guests as well. There is an internet hookup in our activity center. Camp store, tile restrooms, large shady sites, 2 heated pools, spa, gameroom, activity center, laundry, shuffleboard, horseshoes, planned activities & more.
