Directions to the campground: From Nashville, TN, take I-24 west to the Cadiz Exit and exit left to Highway 68. Follow Highway 68 12 miles to the campground entrance.

Campground Desciption and details: Devils Elbow Campground is located on beautiful Lake Barkley near Cadiz, KY, and Barkley State Park. It is nestled in the wooded rolling hills. Deer have been known to frequent the area as well as visitors that engage in a number of recreational activities such as boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking. The campground offers 19 sites, with no electric and water on most sites. Additional ammenities include hot showers, and a boat launch. Important Information **Sorry, but reservations for this campground or picnic shelter cannot be made at this time. The Corps of Engineers is considering changes to operation of this recreation area. Please try another area to make a reservation.** Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. The campground is open May 8-September 6 and sites are $10-$13/night. Attendants are on duty and more information about this area may be obtained by calling (270) 924-5878. Visitors participating in water related activities should use caution because of shallow depths throughout the lake.
