Directions to the campground: From Columbia, KY: Exit 49 from Cumberland Pkwy, then north on KY HWY-55 for 1.5 miles, turn right on KY HWY-551 and continue 1 mile, turn left on Holmes Bend Rd and follow directional signs into campground.

Campground Desciption and details: Situated along Kentucky's Highland Rim, the general area of Holmes Bend Campground contains forested tracks, rolling meadows, and riparian zones with steep slopes. Green River Lake encompasses a total of some 32,000 acres in the central portion of Kentucky. Holmes Bend campground offers 125 campsites--102 with electric hook-ups of which 42 also have water hook-ups. Other amenities include dump stations, bath houses, boat ramp, playground, shelter, and fishing areas. A public marina, gas stations, bait & grocery stores, firewood & ice, boat storage, and miniature golf are nearby. Important Information Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. A gate attendant is on duty. The campground telephone number is 270-384-4623. Local option prohibits the use of alcohol. State Gold Cards do not apply for fee discounts. Camping is allowed only in designated areas of the park. No off-road vehicles are allowed in the park. Day-use and visitor fees apply. All visitors must leave by 9:30pm.
