Directions to the campground: From Louisville, KY: Take Hwy 60 from Louisville to Harned, KY, 10 miles west on Hwy 79 to Hwy 259, travel east on Highway 259 for .5 miles to Highway 110 west, follow Highway 110 for 1 mile. Follow signs into entrance.

Campground Desciption and details: River Lake lies within the "Clifty" area of the Pennyroyal Region of Kentucky. A wide variety of recreational opportunities and facilities has been provided for visitor enjoyment by the Corps and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Visitation at the lake now exceeds two million visitor days annually. This campground has 77 sites, boat launching ramp, dump station, pit restrooms, playground, potable water, swimming and telephone. Important Information Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The campground is open mid-April to mid-October and sites range from $13-$18/night. Attendants are on duty and the telephone number is (270) 257-8839. Local option prohibits the use of alcohol. Off-road vehicles are not allowed.
