Directions to the campground: From Glasgow, KY: Take 31-E south for 15 mi to Hwy 252. Turn right, go 1.5 mi to Hwy 517, turn right and follow signs to entrance. Approximately 19 miles southwest of Glasgow, KY.

Campground Desciption and details: Baileys Point campground is the largest of the Corps of Engineers campgrounds on Barren River Lake. This campground offers several waterfront campsites with scenic views of the main area of the lake. Visitors have easy access to great fishing, skiing, sailing, and other water based recreation. There are a total of 215 sites, many with electric and water, and there are 5 modern shower houses located throughout the area. The clean lake and wooded hillsides help make for a memorable camping trip to south central Kentucky. Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. The campground is open from mid-April through mid-October. All access roads are paved, and there is a campground control station.
