Directions to the campground: From Nashville take I-24 west to Cadiz, exit 65. Make a left onto Highway 68 for 8 miles to Highway 139. Make a left on Highway 139 and go 6 miles to Highway 164. Make a right on Highway 164 and the day use area is 8 miles from there.

Campground Desciption and details: Linton Recreation Area is located on beautiful Lake Barkley approximately 15 miles from Cadiz, KY. It is settled on the waterfront in rolling hills with a beautiful view. Visitors here enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming as well as many other outdoor activities. An abundance of wildlife can be seen including the occasional deer. One group picnic shelter is available for reservation. Whether it's a family picnic or a BBQ with a group of friends, the area provides the perfect setting for a relaxing get together. Important Information Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. The shelter is available for reservation April 1 - October 31 for $35/day. Check in time for the shelter is 8am and check out time is 10pm. The shelter will accommodate 100 people and 50 vehicles.
