Directions to the campground: From Nashville, take I-24 W to Exit 40. Turn left on 62 and then right on Hwy 295. Follow Hwy 295 to recreation area entrance.
Campground Desciption and details: Old Kuttawa Recreation Area is located on beautiful Lake Barkley approximately 3 miles from the wooded, rolling hills of Eddyville, KY. Visitors here enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming as well as many other outdoor activities. An abundance of wildlife can be seen here including the occasional geese. Two picnic shelters are available for visitors to enjoy. The location provides the ideal setting to view nature at its best with your family and friends. Important Information Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. Shelters may be reserved for $25-$35/day. Both shelters accommodate 100 people and 50 vehicles. Visitors taking part in water related activities should use caution due to shallow depths throughout the lake.
