Directions to the campground: From Jamestown, KY, take US 127 S 10 mi and turn right on Kendall Road, just before you cross the dam. Follow signs into the campground.

Campground Desciption and details: Open year round. 77 improved sites. LP gas; water and electric hookups, boat ramp. Kendall Campground is located on Lake Cumberland with several country stores conveniently nearby, and it also offers access to the main lake. It is settled just below the dam in a pine plantation, which helps keep the area cooled in the summer. Tours of the dam are available in the summer, and the educational fish hatchery is just next door. The campground offers 77 sites with water and electric hook ups. Additional amenities include hot showers, a dump station, boat launch, picnic shelter, bike trails, laundry facilities, and a public telephone.
