Directions to the campground: From Somerset KY take Hwy 27 south 5 miles,turn right on Waitsboro Road. There are signs on Hwy 2 to the campground.

Campground Desciption and details: Waitsboro Campground is located on beautiful Lake Cumberland near Burnside and Somerset, KY. It is surrounded by large expanses of water, heavily forested steep banks, and rock cliffs. Shopping centers, restaurants, and an amusement park are conveniently found nearby. Visitors here enjoy boating, fishing, and shopping as well as many other activities. The campground offers 25 sites with water and/or electric hook ups, 4 of those sites are for tents only. Additional amenities include hot showers, a dump station, laundry facilities, a picnic shelter, and public telephones. Important Information Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. 2 night minimum on weekends. 3 night minimum on holidays. Waitsboro Opens 11 April and closes 20 October and sites are $14-$24/night. A picnic shelter may be reserved for $50/day.
