Michaud Campground - grassy, very clean, open or wooded pull through sites on US 1 Highway - cable TV, phone available, for longer term stays, and the daily and weekend newspapers delivered to your site, if you wish. Open all year for your pleasure, enjoy the remarkable sunsets, the luscious sight of pink and white fields of potato blossoms in July (Potato Blossom Festival mid-July), the breath-taking colors of September-October foliage, and the acclaimed ITS snowmobile trails right from your site! Along with scenic, unspoiled beauty, we offer you our congenial Northern Maine hospitality. Relax from hot hustle and bustle this summer with us in cooler surroundings. Shoot a few moose, with your camera, of course! Shop 'til you drop right in Presque Isle, 2-1/2 miles away, or walk or bike Presque Isle's city bike path of 4.5 miles of beauty. Use our park as a hub for your day trips, then to return back to a relaxing sunset at night. We accept RVs and tents and offer you water, electric, sewer, tables, fireplaces, flushes, hot showers, sanitary station, laundromat, outdoor play area with swings, horseshoes, basketball and hoop, volleyball and badminton, and a large ball field, as well as a rec hall to read or play ping pong. We welcome pets on leashes. Drive-ups welcome. Seventh night free. We live on premise, and for a nominal fee, you may store your RV (no hookup) in our storage field when you are not using your unit and want to save fuel back and forth.
