Campground Desciption and details: Overlooking the Nanticoke River and Tangier Sound. Roaring Point Campground is a quiet and peaceful retreat. Our main attractions are fishing, crabbing, and beach walking. Come capture a Maryland Memory! We have miles of biking roads in the area, so be sure to remember your bicycle when you're packing! With a view overlooking the Nanticoke River and Tangier Sound, the natural beauty of Roaring Point Waterfront Campground makes it a quiet, peaceful retreat to camp and explore. Whether your site is a waterfront view or in our grassy area close to playgrounds, bathhouse and laundry facilities, you'll have everything you need! Some of our tent sites have a waterfront view of the Sound, where swimming is the order of the day and fishing is for those that are just looking for a way to pass the time. If you'd like to try your hand at crabbing for some of Maryland's finest blue crab, we have a pier right at our campground for your use! What could be better than fresh crab to round out your days' activities? If you have forgotten that "one thing" you need for dinner, be sure to check out our campstore, we may have it! We have provided planned activities on specified weekends, be sure to call and see what we have scheduled for your visit!
