Campground Desciption and details: In the heart of Civil War Country. Located on a quiet creek for fishing. Family owned and operated. Activities March 14 thru December 1, for all ages. Beanie babies are available. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and come to Snug Harbor KOA. We are on the banks of the historic Conococheague Creek and nestled in the rolling hills of Western Maryland. This is indeed a family campground. We are situated in a rustic setting but comforted with modern facilities. From the moment you enter this campground, you will find the peace and serenity that the hills, trees and creek provide. Let the sounds of nature envelope you. Snug Harbor is a great place to relax and partake in the history of 130 years ago where soldiers fought. Fish on the creek or canoe 100 yards up stream to explore what remains of an indian fish trap. We offer grassy, creek front and pull-thru sites - sunny or shaded. Enjoy our heated swimming pool, multi purpose hall with kitchen, game room, playground and theatre. Rent a canoe. If you are wanting to get away without an rv or tent, we offer 17 cabins. We enjoy camping here at Snug Harbor and this is a great place. We assure you that this delighful atmosphere will leave you begging for s’more! Our Highlights Spectacular Beanie Baby Selection! Squish it all together and listen for the crowd to yell for s'more! Parents, watch the little ones with their first bite because these do hold the heat!!!
