Attractions near the campground: Great fishing and sightseeing on the St. Croix River. Near apple orchards, Carpenter Nature Center, Afton State Park, and Historic downtown Afton. Fall colors in the area are spectacular!
Directions to the campground: Located on County Road 21 between Afton, MN & Prescott, WI. Park is on the Minnesota side of the St. Croix River, 3 miles South of Afton State Park.
Campground Desciption and details: Washington County Parks. Offering 21 pull-thrus w/water/electric, 5 pull-thru sites w/electric only. (2 have 50 amp service), 36 back-in sites w/electric & 11 secluded back-in sites w/no electric. 30 min. from downtown St. Paul. Each site has a picnic table & fire ring. Modern bathroom w/flush toilets & hot showers. Dump station, public boat access to the St. Croix River, play areas, hiking trails, volleyball & tennis courts. No pets or alcohol. Firewood & ice avail. Group camping avail.
