Campground Desciption and details: Provincial Park - 1,100 hectares of parkland with nicely wooded campground nestled around the base of Sugarloaf Mountain. 11 tent sites, 65 electrical sites of which 8 are full service; firewood available, laundry room with washer & dryer, wheelchair accessible washrooms/showers, kitchen area with sink, woodstoves and tables for meal preparation on rainy days and small playground on site. Activity Center. Activities include: (late June to Labor Day - Canada) Alpine Slide. Rentals: paddle boats, mountain bikes, roller blades, tennis, volleyball and basketball. 22 kilometers of hiking trails which include 1,000 foot climb up Sugarloaf Mountain for a panoramic view of rolling hills, the Bay des Chaleurs and Restigouche River (bring a camera).
