Campground Desciption and details: Fontana Village is located in the unspoiled, secluded Nantahala Forest of western North Carolina and borders the southern edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Adding to the beauty are nearby Fontana and Cheoah Lakes. The area features breathtaking mountain and lake vistas that inspire not only the average visitor, but photographers and artists as well.
