Campground Desciption and details: Kanipahow Kamps is located on the beautiful and famous Chapleau River which borders on the largest wildlife sanctuary in the world. Our remote location combined with the high population of wildlife has made Kanipahow Kamps one of the top Black Bear and Moose hunting destinations in Canada. The sparkling clean waters of the Chapleau River produce excellent fishing for Walleye, Northern Pike and Perch. Adjacent lakes and streams have Lake and Brook Trout. Our great fishing and hunting is once again complemented by the comfort and beauty of our fully equipped cottages. We also offer a fully serviced family camp ground with lots of conveniences and designated sites for both RV's and tents. It's the sports-person's playground of Northern Ontario
