Campground Desciption and details: Your first stop for a tour of Old-Quebec and the Gaspe Peninsula Camping Transit welcomes you to a stay with us while you enjoy the best that the French Canadian experience has to offer Camping Transit is in the beautiful French Canadian countryside only few minutes from Quebec City. We are conveniently located 15 minutes east from the Pierre-Laporte Bridge on Highway 20; and we are only 7 minutes from the Levis ferry terminal where a 12 minute Ferry ride takes you directly to Old-Quebec. We distinguish ourselves by caring about our guests. We provide excellence in service, comfort, cleanliness, serenity, security and, courtesy. We have 200 RV sites, including 100 pull-thru's, with 15, 30 and 50 amp service. Each site measures, on average, 3,000 square feet. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy our wooded area that has been dedicated entirely to tent campers. Two community halls comfortably seat up to 600 persons and have a licenced snack bar. They overlook a large swimming pool and have access to a terrace and a small lake. A children's playground near to the pool. The hall offers amenities such as: meeting facilities, an audiovisual system, giant screen TV, pool table, and a relaxing environment for socializing. Adjacent to the community hall is the reception area where knowledgeable and friendly staff help makes to your stay enjoyable and memorable. We provide information and suggestions about the area attractions to enhance your Quebec experience. You can explore the old city and countryside on Grayline Tours that leaves directly from the campground. The reception area there's also a small store with necessities such as camping and food items grocery. An area is provided for gatherings such as RV rallies, office parties, reception buffets, hot dog roasts, etc. The geographical location of Camping Transit give you the opportunity to enjoy a mini-cruise and parking at an affordable price when you visit Old-Quebec.
