Campground Desciption and details: Nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, Walnut Hills is a family-run and family-oriented campground with many amenities to comfort you and your loved ones. We offer large, level full hook-up / pull thrus as well as lakefront sites and a primitive tent camping area. Cabin and Cottages are available for those who wish to visit without bringing a rig or equipment .... Cable TV, air conditioned laundry facilities, LP Gas, new bathroom facilities that are handicap accessible, fax service and RV spotting, make Walnut Hills the finest full-service campground you will find! We have Instant on-site telephone service so you can jump right on the Internet, have conference calls between camping sites, or even get a wake-up call. Enjoy our swimming pool & kiddie pool, equipped playground, volleyball court, game room, covered pavilion, and a fishing lake where no fishing license is required. We have live entertainment weekends throughout the summer and on various weekends we offer crafts for the kids and children's Olympics. During the season on Saturdays, join us for haywagon rides.
