Dan’s Specialty Guide Service uses only the very best gear…G Loomis rods outfitted with Shimano Calcutta reels, plus big, wide, stable Koffler boats powered by Yamaha outboards to get you to the action. We provide you with the best accommodations on the Nushagak. Our spacious, comfortable tents don’t sit on the ground, but atop elevated platforms right at riverside. Not every fish camp on the Nushagak can provide you with a hot shower after a day of fishing, but you’ll find this at our camp, along with full electrical power, a walk-in freezer for storing the day’s catch, and more. Dan’s guides are among the most successful and knowledgeable on the Nushagak. In addition to helping bring in dozens of fish each day, they have helped our clients win the Dillingham Salmon Derby the last three years in a row! The mess tent is a huge, Quonset-type shelter, and as for food…whole roast pig, chicken, turkey, roast beef, BBQ ribs, salads, fresh pastries and baked goods, and of course, fresh salmon. Our staff makes sure every guest is happy and well-fed.
