Campground Desciption and details: Big Bear Lake has 1,000 acres of choice West Virginia woodlands just waiting for you and your family. Look at what Big Bear Lake has in store for you: Get the thrill of your life at our giant lake side Water Slide. Take the kids for a rousing game of miniature golf at our newly renovated 18 hole miniature golf course.We also have a game room with the latest video games. Get together with other property owners or have your family reunion and challenge your skills at one of our regulation tennis courts, volleyball courts or the baseball field. Or you could live your very own "Hoop Dreams" at the basketball courts. Every Saturday Night from May 1st thru October 31st we have Country Western dances at our Community Center. The finest country bands from the area will entertain the whole family. Come on down an learn the newest Country Line Dances and get to know your new neighbors. Enjoy the splendor of the West Virginia mountains on one of our hiking trails where you will find some of the most unique wild flowers and birds in the country. We have 24 miles of mountain bike trails for those who need a more challenging outdoor experience. The mountain bike and hiking trails are open from January 1st thru October 1st. And last but certainly not least, our lakes. At 35 acre Big Bear Lake, you and your family can swim, fish or just lay on the beach. Plus at Baby Bear Lake adjacent to the water slide, the whole family can make sand castles or float on a raft and enjoy the gentle summer breeze as you watch the thrill seekers speed down the water slide.
