Campground Desciption and details: We offer a variety of summer outdoor experiences, from pack in fishing trips to family camping and sightseeing trips to drop trips. We will plan your custom pack trip with special attention to fishing, wild flowers, photography, wildlife viewing or just experiencing untouched, seldom seen country. Plan an exciting family vacation or a relaxing getaway. Bring together old friends for a reunion or get away from the crowds and celebrate a second honeymoon in the mountains. These trips can be enjoyed by anyone in good health, regardless of age or riding ability. Our horses are mountain-bred, sure footed, and gentle. Our qualified trail guides take care of saddling the horses, building the fire, and pitching the guest tents. We will do everything for you but reel in your trout. All you do is ride along! After an exhilarating day in the saddle you will relish a delicious meal, of steak or chicken and dumplings, prepared by our camp cook over an open fire. In the evening, the campfire is a gathering place for songs and stories. Mornings find our guests well rested and waking to the aroma of brewing coffee and sizzling bacon. And everyone is anxious to get down the trail for another exciting day discovering beautiful mountain scenery. Pack with us into the wilderness where the "Big ones" wait to take your bait. The fishing areas we visit are accessible only by foot or horseback and the high mountain lakes and streams are alive with cutthroat, rainbow, brook, brown & golden trout and grayling. For those people who don't want to pack in on horseback, we have remote camps that are accessible by 4x4's that we can drive to, yet still offer the beauty of the remoteness of a pack in camp. We have daily horseback rides, fishing, sightseeing, wildlife viewing, and a variety of other western activities.
